Behind the scenes
I bought my Fuji 100x a while ago to give me the ability to take dslr pictures without the size of a dslr…and also it doesn’t hurt that it look soooo cool. Without a doubt it delivers on picture quality (and style), but it was plagued by poor autofocus and clunky operation that has seen it sat on my shelf gathering dust for some time.
Recently though, my good friend Arild Heitmann told me that the recent firmware update has fixed the autofocus and added cool new features such as focus peaking. I’m normally pretty lazy at updating firmware…in fact this might actually be the first time I’ve ever done it on a camera…but if this works and the x100 is re-vivified I’ll probably be more proactive in the future! I’m certainly looking forward to giving this cool little camera another go 🙂
