I’ve been processing lots of photos from my trip to Norway in February recently. Lofoten is a truly epic place for photography with soaring mountains and frozen lakes…I half expected flight of dragons to come soaring over the horizon at times. Lofoten is also famous for it’s incredible aurora displays but on my trip we were pretty unlucky in not having any clear nights to see them; the good news is that I’m going back this autumn for my second go at hunting the Northern Lights with lofotentours.com! This shot is from Uttakleiv beach: once again the weather was against us and we were denied a colourful sunset but I managed to have a wee go at taking long exposures with filters (something I’d not done much of before this) and I have to say I quite like it.
